A grab bar is only as good as the wall behind it. That belief is the whole company.
We started this company after watching a family member spend eleven weeks in rehab because of a fall in a bathtub — in a bathroom that had a grab bar in it. The bar was mounted to drywall with plastic anchors. It came out of the wall in her hand.
Almost every bathroom fall we hear about follows that same pattern. Someone bought hardware at a big-box store, a well-meaning relative put it up on a Saturday, and nobody checked whether the wall behind it could hold an adult’s full body weight. A grab bar that fails is worse than no grab bar at all, because people trust it.
So we built the company around one rule: nothing goes on the wall unless it is anchored to structure and load tested before we leave.
Credentialed, not just handy
Our assessments are performed by occupational therapists and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialists. Placement is a clinical decision — height, reach, and the direction a person actually pulls when they stand.
Licensed, bonded, insured
Background-checked installers who show up in a marked vehicle, wear shoe covers, and clean up the drilling dust before they go.
One price, quoted up front
You approve the number before any tool comes out of the truck. No trip charges, no “while we were in there” add-ons.
What “installed correctly” actually means
Every bar is fastened into wood framing, solid blocking, or a code-rated fastener system rated for a minimum 250 lb static load — the ADA standard, which we install to in private homes even though private homes are not legally required to meet it. Then we hang our own weight on the bar in front of you. If it moves, we redo it.
That sounds obvious. It is also the single thing that separates an install that holds for twenty years from one that pulls out the first time somebody really needs it.

Who actually comes to your house
The person at your door is one of our own installers, not a subcontractor found that morning. Every one of them is background checked, carries our insurance, and has installed hundreds of these.
- Marked vehicle, photo ID, and a call or text before arrival
- Shoe covers, drop cloths, and a vacuum at the drill bit
- Photos of the framing before the bar covers it, sent to you or your family
- Comfortable explaining every decision to an adult child on speakerphone
- Trained to stop and re-quote rather than improvise when a wall surprises them
Things we will not do
We will not install suction-cup bars and call them grab bars. We will not mount a load-bearing bar to drywall anchors alone, even if you ask us to. We will not give you a firm price for a wall we have not seen and then raise it at the end. And we will not recommend five bars when the honest answer is two — the assessment routinely talks people out of hardware they do not need.
The installer found that our old bar was screwed into nothing but drywall. He showed me the hole. Two new bars went in the same visit, into the studs, and he hung off both of them before he left. I have used them every day since.
My father was discharged on a Thursday and they were at the house Friday morning. Bathroom and the front step. The quote did not change between the phone call and the invoice, which is not something I take for granted anymore.
The therapist who came out spent an hour and told us we only needed two bars, not the five another company had quoted. She also moved our bath mat and changed a light bulb. Honest people.
